History
The Galtean Alliance Though apparently withdrawn from history, the Occurian gods of Ivalice continued to influence its course. Their most recent action was the gifting of nethicite to King Raithwall, a Valendia-born man who would, with this Occurian aid, unite all of Ivalice, bringing it from a time of turmoil into a Golden Age. Around four centuries later, this Alliance finally dissolved, splintering into its component countries. Dalmasca, founded shortly after Raithwall’s campaign, survived the Alliance, and its ruling House Dalmasca remained a branch of Raithwall’s bloodline. The ancient city of Rabanastre on the Galtean Peninsula became Dalmasca’s capital, and House Nabradia meanwhile settled in Valendia, the king's home continent. Each cared for one of the three shards of nethicite used by Raithwall, which served as proof of their lineage. Raithwall was interred far to the west of Dalmasca, in an elaborate tomb built during his life, which remained in later ages as testament to the advanced magic and technology of the time. The last of the nethicite shards, the Dawn Shard, was entombed with him. The Esper Belias, bound to King Raithwall in life, guarded the tomb even after his master's death.
Present Day - Main Plot
As of the year 704 Old Valendian, as measured from the founding of the Galtean Alliance, the recent history of Ivalice has been one of conquest. In that year, the ever-expanding Archadian Empire devoured its neighbor, the kingdom of Nabradia, obliterating its royal seat at the Verdpale Palace with the power of Raithwall's nethicite legacy, stolen from the palace. Archadia's efforts soon turned Dalmasca’s way, and it was quickly conquered, its king murdered in an Archadian plot to deny Dalmasca the luxury of a peace treaty. Dalmasca subsequently surrendered without terms.
Driven from her kingdom and pronounced dead, Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca, now queen in exile of Dalmasca, joined a resistance movement dedicated to restoring Dalmascan sovereignty. In 706OV, her path merged with others who held grievances towards the Archadian Empire, and together they discovered the full extent of Archadia's want for conquest, eventually managing to avoid the threat of war with Rozarria, an empire in Ordalia. The events of Ashe's journey saw the Occurian control over history broken and Venat, the rogue Occurian responsible for granting Archadia so much power, satisfied that his goals had been fulfilled. The Archadian Empire was left in the hands of Larsa Solidor, a peaceable young man who saw the hope of Ivalice in co-operation. A new level of freedom was granted to Ivalice, only to have it threatened once more.
When the fate of Ivalice was put into Ashe's hands by the Occuria, she defied the gods and chose to put the tides of history into mans' hands. The gods, enraged by this act of Independence, retaliated. Now, Ivalice must endure the wrath of the gods, the Occuria, with Gerun as their leader. Immortal creatures with magick beyond Hume imagination, against all of Ivalice weakened by the war which had only just past. All of Ivalice must unite, Rozzaria, Archadia, Dalmasca, Bhujerba, and the remnants of Nabradia, to fight indestructible beings. Unable to destroy them, they must come up with a plan to lock them away for eternity.
The Living Dead - Sub Plot (for the time being)
To add even more confusion to the already chaotic Ivalice, those who were thought to have been lost to the afterlife have returned. They live, just like any other. There is no way of telling them from any other person. With no idea how or why they have returned, some not even knowing that they had perished, they try to find their way back home. Little do they know that their attempts to return to their former lives are only further damaging Ivalice. Some have been gone for months, others years. Many are returning to an Ivalice they don't remember. Now, people do not only have to worry about the Occuria, but they have to find out why the dead have returned. To make things worse, some will do anything they can to stay alive, and not return to the afterlife.
These plots will intertwine several times, and even if you are playing a dead character, that character can still take part in the main plot. Example: Reks will probably want to help his brother fight the Occuria.
Note- This takes place after Final Fantasy XII, but before Reverent Wings.
We'd just like to add this as a side note. Obviously, we are currently running a bit slow. Our main admin, Fran, has gone totally MIA on us, and the only active staff is Reks and Ashe. We accept canons and originals, and we've just started a new opportunity called Temporary Canons, for those of our canons that have gone missing. We do still have a good number of canons still available for the taking and we're welcoming all types of characters with open arms. ^_^

In that time span, the villains of the past, namely being the Vizard on the opposing side of The Revolution, haven’t simply forgotten the prejudice and treachery against them. In the years that have passed since their shameful exile out of Soul Society, they have been plotting their revenge against the Shinigami.
How dare they attack and slay their own people!
And now, their plans have come to fruition. With two single goals in mind, the villains of old have formed an organization simply titled “Deus Divinus” or “God’s Diviners.” Having been biding their time, the members of Deus Divinus (henceforth to be known as D.D.) are now preparing their first frontal assault on the human world.

Nexos: A feral dog RPG « Result #4 on Dec 14, 2008, 6:31pm »
a canine roleplay.
In 2008 scientist Dr. Robert E. Adams discovered the cure for heartworm. It was delivered in the form of a gas mask over the cat or dog for only a minute at a time. The gas would kill the heartworms at any stage of the development with only a side effect of a little bit of a runny nose. The best part was that it was so cheap that it could be offered as low as five dollars a treatment. Millions of pet owners around the world lined up for hours to save their animals, and in no time heartworms was just a thing of the past. To help prevent the outbreak of the killer worm again the US government hired teams of people who would go up and down streets spraying the gas. This way strays wouldn’t spread the worm onto other animals. It was perfect, maybe too perfect.
In 2010 a normally tame dog in a household suddenly started to viciously attack his owners. An elderly woman eventually died from the attack, and the dog had to be shot just to prevent any more harm. It was a puzzling case as no evidence of rabies was found in the male dog. However, what the vet did find was an odd type of brain cell in the dog. It was attacking other cells around it, and it was triggering massive overdoses of adrenaline. A few days later three other dogs, in the same area, did the exact same thing. This time a young child was killed. The odd thing was that his body was eaten completely; even some of the bones were gone. The two other dogs were found with the same type of odd cell in their brains.
Two weeks later chaos erupted. Dogs in every city and in every state were attacking anything they could get their mouths on. Some said that they acted almost like they were rabid. Experts on rabies gathered a few of the infected dogs and came to a terrifying conclusion. Since the odd brain cell was producing so much adrenaline the canines were in a constant state of ‘super’ strength. Although, this came with a terrible cost so the dogs were always in search of food. The treatment for heartworms that was found two years prior had been slowly mutating until it finally took a hold of the dog. The total death count for humans throughout the entire world was reaching the hundred thousand. Military teams were called in from the government to eliminate any dogs in sight.
One organization started to offer to pick up dogs that had never come in contact with the medication. Often it was in third world countries, or in small towns where the medication never got that far out. A small scan would be done on the dog before it was picked up and shipped off to a town located on the southern boundaries of Canada. This town was named Nexo, the mouth of death, and it once was a booming city full of people. Now it sits and it’s the last place for dogs to live a semi-normal life again.
Are you one of the survivors or did you fall like the rest?

FATE & FURY.. « Result #8 on Nov 30, 2008, 1:25pm »
FATE & FURY...
The Heavenlies had good intentions. They created the earth, placed mortals upon it, created the manna for the mortals to follow, and meant to watch their creations blossom. But when things went wrong, they went really wrong. At first things seemed righted as they sent two of their own kind down to keep track of things - until two of the Heavenlies managed to create an incest foal, stupid as they were. This foal would be the end of earth as it was known.
Balous was sent to earth to perish, and when he didn't, his twisted incest mind began plotting. He drew many in, and began to taint them, twist their minds. War began between those who followed Balous, and those who believed in the manna, and the earthbound Heavenlies, who were now called the Fate. Those who followed the Fate were now known as the virtues. All others were called the fallen. The Fate and the virtues destroyed the fallen, but Balous escaped with his life. When the Fate God, Haphaestus, fell for the Fate Goddess, Pandora, Balous found his opportunity to strike.
The twisted brute began his scheme, tainting the Goddess at any given opportunity. It was then that the Heavenlies caught on to his motions, and they destroyed him - but they were too late. Pandora was too corrupt, and she slowly turned into a fallen. But of course she wasn't the same as the other fallen, for she had divine powers. The Heavenlies wept, and called her the Fury.
Now, as Pan builds an army of dark warriors, Haphaestus too builds an army, but of those who still believe in the manna, and for all that is right in the world. But there is a secret. One that could make or break both alliances... And the only ones who can access it are the Fury Goddess and Fate God.
The year is currently 2500. The whole human race died out nearly three hundred years ago due to a huge nuclear war that swept across the world, killing nearly everything in its path although some animals managed to survive. Horses being one of them. All of the remaining animals began to florish as the world pieced itself back together. Without the humans trees and plants grew everywhere, no pollution or anything to kill them. The animals lived in harmony, most of the predators extinct, nothing to kill them. Horses begun to rule, and as they did their intelligence increased. They begun to take on human like traits.
There were horses of all types, horses who were so kind that they were even nice to the evil. Horses who were stuck in the middle and shared traits of both godly and evil. Then there were those who were so caught up in causing death and depression that they hardly thought of anything else. Those who were evil, frequently called the d**ned, wanted to rule. But of course those who were so godly didn't want them to as it would put an end to their perfect haven and drape it in darkness forever. Those who were caught in the middle really didn't care seeing as they could live either way. The d**ned and the godly felt as though a war was brewing. They could feeling it coming. The ones who were both d**ned and godly could feel it to and simply chose not to fight, but some of the neutrals rebelled and chose a side or just fought in between.
It wasn't only a war that harmed to end the new peaceful state of the world. An influenza is spreading, any animal can catch it. Any creature within a half mile radius of one who is infected has a chance of getting sick themselves. The influenza has no boundaries, it is mutating to find a way to kill anything in its path, if it doesnt kill the creature it has infected, it would be a miracle. The influenza threatens the horses to a death sentence, they have to find a cure or something that will stop it in its path. But as the influenza mutates these possibilities of stopping it seem impossible. Those few that survived this illness they have found that it has changed them forever.
On top of the war and influenza there has been sightings of a pack of three rather large looking cats. They are similar to the tiger but almost double the size and way more ferocious. These cats of no boundaries and will kill basically anything that moves. These new predators have an incredible bloodlust and even when their thirst quenched they still lurk just for the excitement of the kill. There are many mysteries surrounding these creatures because of their incredible speed, blood thirst and red eyes. They hold similarities to vampires just in a cat form. These cats never finish eating their prey, they just seem to drain it of blood. They have incredible speed and strength, they seem to have amazing hearing and scent. And they are very quiet, they seem to be the perfect predator. These creatures have earned the name of 'vampire cat'.
With these odd blood thirsty cats on the loose, the influenza and a brewing war, none of the equines are safe. Will the horses somehow work together and defeat the cats? It's unlikely seeing how the d**ned and the godly are feuding non-stop. Will the influenza suddenly disappear, or will a cure be found? Unlikely again. Will the war be forgotten and the equines live in harmony? Yet again unlikely.
Could this be the end of the lovely horses that have roamed the earth for so long? Or will they find incredible strength and fight for their lives?

Sobibor
For years now, Sobibor has been a wretched cage for the slaves, and a fabulous world for masters. Free roamers desperately tried to either gain a slave land of their own, or free slaves and end the cruel reign of masters.
But now, life is changing. Leaves are falling, and autumn has arrived.
---
So, we happen upon the mystical lands of Sobibor with the end of the rebellion. But the slaves have got more than a fight up their sleeves. A secret alliance has formed; One that no master could even thought up, has finally made it's debut. Lead by a council of five wolves and five horses, the group meets every five days. At night. Wolves and horses alike meet there; some willing to give their lives for freedom, others hesitant about the whole concoction. They scheme, and plot, nothing good will come out of this. Pitting the masters against each other is the only way they can think of to survive. So they play the masters into their hooves and paws, hoping one will make the slip to freedom.
But something has intervened into their plans. A few stragglers of the group have warned the masters, and fury is all that will be unleashed. Nothing happens. The masters have come with their own group, and have decided to do nothing. Stay informed, but make no move is their master plan. Then they can drive the slaves to insanity with their crippled plots. And while the whole thing is occurring, who are the traitors to the SA [Slave Alliance]? Let the back stabbing, and the pointing of fingers begin. Some slaves are deemed as the betrayers who are not. And their future is uncertain at the nightly rituals. . .
The Free-roamers are divided. Some join the master's club, others doing undercover work for the slaves, since they are free to their own rights.
Weeks pass, and the masters throw out their own new idea. Races. Masters with big herds and packs have a certain field upon which the creatures are raced, the heat of day making their backs break. With numbers dwindling and thieves among them, who is safe?
